Respectable collections for Amitabh Bachchan flick…
Mahesh Manjrekar’s latest film Viruddh is benefitting
from strong word-of-mouth overseas. The family drama,
which stars Amitabh Bachchan and John Abraham, received
positive reviews following its release a few weeks ago.
Its opening collections at the UK box office were average,
but the movie has performed steadily over the weeks. During
its third weekend of release, Viruddh collected £33,114,
bringing its total collections to a respectable £221,198.
It is currently number 13 in the UK box office charts.
